Congratulations on your decision to move to Central Kentucky! Whether it be for business, pleasure, or military relocation, the Clinkenbeard Sales Team wants to help make your move as stress-free as possible. Feel free to contact us with any questions you may have.
Central Kentucky is known for its beautiful countryside and is rich in local culture and history. It encompasses the cities in Hardin, Meade, and Larue counties. The largest and most commonly known communities in the area are Elizabethtown, Radcliff, Vine Grove, Rineyville, Brandenburg, and Hodgenville. In addition to their natural beauty, these towns boast several local attractions. Be sure to visit the Coca Cola Museum in Elizabethtown, as well as Abraham Lincoln's birthplace in Hodgenville! The Patton Museum at Fort Knox boasts several historical exhibits for military and civilians alike and Freeman Lake Park provides acres and acres of nature activities. Take a drive down to Mammoth Cave National Park in the southern part of the state or head east to the Kentucky Bourbon Trail and visit the Maker's Mark Distillery. One of the biggest perks of living in Central Kentucky is being centrally located! Take advantage of living less than an hour away from Louisville, and less than three hours away from Nashville and Indianapolis. Chicago, St. Louis, and Cincinnati are all easily accessible for a weekend getaway! Calling this area a national treasure would be an understatement - the Gold Vault on Fort Knox holds the largest portion of the United States' gold bullion! (Don't worry about scheduling a trip to the vault into your itinerary, though. Access to the vault requires a presidential order!)
